This is a small, south facing cottage garden which we have developed over 12 years and which runs on organic principles (with no chemicals) and with wildlife in mind.
We have a long list of birds (56 species), moths (211 species), butterflies (17 species) and other unusual insects (including Bush Crickets & Coneheads) visiting the garden.
Key plants:
Trained Apples & Pears. Bearded Irises, Foxgloves, Umbellifers, Cranesbills & other hardy perennials. Ferns. Sempervivums & Jovibarbas (c100 varieties grown at one time or another).
